DIY Constellations

The constellation cards feel sturdy enough to survive a few rounds of punching, and my nephew loved seeing Taurus actually appear on the wall. It’s a clever way to teach the night sky without needing a telescope or clear weather.

I spent a rainy afternoon with my kid punching out the zodiac cards, and watching each constellation glow through the viewer genuinely felt like magic. The holes align perfectly with the patterns, so even a seven-year-old can line them up without frustration.

The punch tool makes nice clean holes, and the cards themselves are thick enough to hold up to a kid’s enthusiasm. My daughter had the Big Dipper projected on her ceiling within 20 minutes of opening the box. The mix of zodiac signs and animals kept her interested through all 26 constellations.
