DIY Inflatable Rockets

My kids loved coloring their own rockets and then watching them zoom across the yard. The straw inflation system is clever and actually works reliably.

My three-year-old loves coloring the rockets, and they actually fly a surprising distance once inflated with the included straws.

The straws work perfectly for inflating the rockets—my kids were launching them across the yard in seconds. Coloring each one with felt pens kept them busy for a good half hour before the real fun began.
