KidzLabs Fingerprint Kit

The dusting powder works exactly like the real thing—my daughter spent a whole afternoon lifting prints off every glass and doorknob in the house. It's messy, but that's half the fun. The instruction booklet explains each step clearly enough that she did it all on her own.

My six-year-old loved pressing his own fingers onto the ink pad and seeing the loops and whorls appear. The included dusting powder let him actually lift a print from a glass, which felt like real detective work. This kit kept him busy for a whole afternoon.

The dusting powder is surprisingly effective—my daughter lifted clear prints off a glass in under a minute, and the guide makes it easy to explain the ridge patterns. We've turned our kitchen table into a mini crime scene three times this week.
