STEAM - Earth Science

My daughter dug out three mineral crystals and was so thrilled she immediately wanted to start another volcano. The growing kit is my favorite part—we checked it every morning and it actually worked, forming nice little crystal clusters in about a week.

We set up the volcano in one afternoon and the eruption with baking soda was a huge hit with my 9-year-old. The crystal growing took a few days, but watching them form fascinated us both. It's a solid kit that delivers exactly what it promises.

The crystal mining kit kept my daughter entertained for hours, and we were both surprised by how well the growing solution worked. It's a solid hands-on science kit that doesn't feel like a chore.
