Mini Lab Fluo & Glow

The glow-in-the-dark lava lamp came together in about ten minutes and genuinely wowed my kids—the invisible ink was the sleeper hit though. Everything’s still glowing hours later, which feels like magic for the price.

My nephew was skeptical about the invisible ink, but his face lit up when he held the paper under the blacklight. The phosphorescent powder creates a glow that lasts a surprisingly long time on his bedroom ceiling.

We mixed the lava lamp ingredients last night and it actually glowed for almost two hours after we turned off the lights. The invisible ink was a bit tricky to get right the first time, but once we did, my kids spent the whole weekend writing secret messages to each other.
