Construis ta Propre Machine à Musique

My son was fascinated by how the gears turn musical notes into actual melodies, and the wooden pieces fit together perfectly without any glue. It took us about an hour to build, and he’s been cranking the handle nonstop since.

My son and I spent a rainy Saturday building this together, and watching him finally grasp how those little gears turn a melody into actual music was pure magic. The wooden pieces fit together perfectly, no frustration at all, and the finished machine genuinely plays a tune.

The gears and levers have my eight-year-old genuinely hooked—she spent an entire rainy afternoon turning cranks and watching how each rotation changes the melody. It’s a clever way to show how notes string together into actual songs, and the assembly felt sturdy enough for repeated fiddling.
