The little wooden press is the perfect size for small hands, and the trinket box project turned out so cute that my son gave it to his grandma. We collected leaves on a walk and had everything drying by bedtime—it's a lovely way to slow down together.

We collected daisies and ferns from the yard, and my 6-year-old was so proud to make her own greeting cards. The press is small enough for her to handle alone, and the wooden trinket box turned out beautifully.

My daughter loved pressing flowers from the backyard, though the press is a bit small if you want to do more than a few at once. The trinket box kit was the clear favorite, and the instructions were easy enough for her to follow on her own.
