My toddler has been calmer at bedtime since I plugged this in — the purple glow is just bright enough to be a nightlight without being harsh. It does get noticeably warm after a couple hours, so I keep it well out of reach, but that hasn't been an issue.

The floating shapes are so hypnotic, I keep getting distracted watching them shift around. I just wish the manual made it clearer how long it takes to cool down safely before moving it.

The deep purple colour and slow, drifting shapes are already helping me wind down after a long day. It does get warm to the touch as noted, but that hasn't been an issue for me so far.
